| Turkey Bowl Sign up for the annual Turkey Bowl happening at 10 AM Thanksgiving morning at Greenspun Jr. High School. The Turkey Bowl is a co-ed flag football tournament sponsored by ONE (18 & Older Ministries). Anyone who is a freshman in high school or older will be able to play in the tournament. The entry fee for those interested in playing is a new jacket, blanket, gloves, tent, backpack or a cash donation to benefit homeless outreach. You can sign up during the weekend services. | GV4 Did you miss the Dedication to Greater Things Weekend? You're not too late to leave your legacy! Pledge cards and prayer rocks are still available at the Information Center. Turn them in during any weekend service. Also, all of our GV4 T-Shirts are sold out. However we will be getting more soon with a brand new design in the coming months. Please watch for information on this website or in the Lifeguide. |

| The Blessing Tree Within the GV Christian Center family are parents who could use your help in putting gifts beneath the tree for their child. On December 6th, there will be a Christmas tree in the lobby with tags listing a child's age, clothing size and a list of what the child hopes to find under their tree. If you would like to sponsor a child, please take one of the numbered tags and then return all unwrapped gifts to the church office by Wednesday, December 17th with your card securely attached. | Friday, December 5th - GV Women's Homes for the Holidays Homes for the Holidays is our final event of the year. If you are interested in opening your home to decorate or be a driver, stop by the Information Center to sign up. Tickets will be on sale soon and sell quickly. This is a great time to invite friends as you visit homes to get some decorating ideas and new recipes for the Christmas season. Also, there will be some new surprises this year. Don't miss out! |

| Celebrate Recovery Step Study We've all been hurt by other people, we've hurt ourselves and we've hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up or habit. But the question we all face is where do I go from here? Step up and experience God's healing power through this Christian Twelve Step program and the Eight Recovery Principles on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM. The women's step study will meet in Room 220. The men's step study will meet in Room 217. |
